When was the last time you saw a Tipster that confident about a 33/1 winner at the Cheltenham Festival?
and coming less than 24 hours after this other strong piece of ante-post advice..
A keeping on 3rd in this race last year Ben Pauling’s Irish bred SHAKEM UP’ARRY has so much going for him that he just has to be the selection in his repeat attempt at the race. He followed that third with a fourth at the Aintree Festival over 3m1f where he weakened on the run to the line before undergoing wind surgery and having 6 1/2 months off the track. He was awful on his seasonal debut when pulling up in a class 3 handicap off 12-00 at Stratford but left that form well behind with a 6th of 19 in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury over 3m1f where he once again weakened in the closing stages of the race. Last time out he dropped back in trip and returned to Cheltenham for the Paddy Power Chase on New Years Day where topweight and short priced favourite Stage Star had given the handicap a lopsided look. When that one pulled up it left Shakem Up’Arry to take it up on the run to the last and stay on nicely up the hill to win by 7 1/2 lengths. In a race we used the trends to great effect to find the 20/1 winner last year it’s good to see our selection for this season tick all the same boxes (age, breeding, rating, form) and as a course and distance winner looks a great bet.
